I've thought about putting a bottle of "water wetter" on the truck. We could use it with those boxes of dehydrated water...

(For those not familar, it is an actual product for automobile radiators.)

How long does a thread have to sit before somebody gives it a bath?

    Red face How 'Bout

Cops greeted by naked woman holding a beer

By QMI Agency Last Updated: July 14, 2010 8:28am

An Arizona woman was naked and holding a beer when she opened the door to police officers on the weekend after allegedly damaging her boyfriend's car with a dog leash.

Police in Mesa were flagged down by a man who said his girlfriend had destroyed the windshield and back window of his car Sunday afternoon, the Arizona Republic newspaper reported. While the man waiting outside, the officers walked up to the door to talk to the woman. She answered the door naked and holding a beer, telling the cops she had just been skinny dipping.

Police asked her to put clothes on before they talked to her. She did, but police said she became "belligerent," refusing to answer questions and calling the officers "pigs."

She denied damaging the car, even though her boyfriend told police he had a picture on his phone of her swinging the dog leash into the windshield, the newspaper reported.

The woman faces aggravated assault and criminal damage charges.

When I read the story, I turned my imagination off as soon as I read the headlines.

You saved Thread Killer!!! You're hereby nominated as Thread Saver of the Week! :

    {Inquiring minds want to know: did you have to go into a fully engulfed structure? What sort of extraction tools were required? How many apparatus were called out? Was there any flak from the general public about wasting tax-payer money? }

Is the correct word "apparatus" or is it "apparati" when referring to plural vehicles?

Oh no you don't. You're not going to end this with word play.

How about a Truck being at a Pub Ed event, and catching fire. While they radioed in a pumper for help, a nearby Truck responded to their aid. That Truck, was smacked by a young woman who thought she could pass it on the left, and get a head of it, while it was TURNING left with lights and sirens on.

2 Trucks down. And the gal is lucky to be alive. She walked away, and no FF injuries.

Ahh but you see. I did just that.

On the more serious note, glad to hear no significant/serious injuries on that "Other" incident. NO fun when either a truck fire or stupid driver happen.

Somebody called in for a cat up a tree. Turns out it was just another squirrel, so we cut the tree down. Better safe, than sorry.

If you fish when the heat index is upwards of 110* F, you will appreciate something that can help with sweat related discomfort and chafing.

We have to get a tree cut up now, since it fell in our yard yesterday. Everything is fine, except for the satelite dish.

That must have been a very big tree...

rhvfd1214: You should be ashamed of yourself. Get your tree out of Cats yard. Don't cut it down and leave it to her to clean up.

I also want to know how many roads it is blocking between your two yards.

I keep trying to warn people but every time I do, they stuff me into an I-love-me jacket.
