I know how to kill this thread. You must respond to option A or B.

Option A; Has anyone ever read "Democracy in America" by Tocqueville?

We can start a philosophical discussion on the merits of his book.

Option B: Explain why diversity is a complex issue in the fire/rescue service.

Optin A; Huh? I think I saw the movie over by Toonerville. I might have fallen asleep during it though.

Optin B; I'm not sure if it's a complex or if it's a single use as opposed to a mixed occupancy. How many floors at the 'versity and whats the construction type?

I never thought I'd see the title "Democracy in America" in this
    thread.

    And recipes, too!

    God bless America!

Ya know, I wondered that too. Also is that a place to learn something, or do ya just kinda 'show up' and gaggle for a few hours?

Okay, that can so be taken in two ways cheffie.
There are plenty of women on the internet that can make men drool onto their keyboards, you just happen to have the special talent of using recipes to do so!
BTW, got any good recipes for bangers and mash?

Actually Cheffie, I believe ( quite strongly as a matter of fact) , that complexity is a diverse issue, not only in the fire/rescue service, but in each and every day life!

Awww..here it comes again. I'm gonna have to got to sensitivity training. Maybe we just need another chance. But I am sensitive, I can feel the flavor, I sense the love that went into the meal and I just know how a good cold beer enhances all the subtle nuances of the meal.

Is anyone else going to get their clubs re-gripped this year?
And does having titanium knees give me an unfair advantage over other golfers?
I'm not the only golfer in this thread, am I?

I've reached the conclusion it's not my clubs where the problem is coming from. I think it's my hands. Can I get them regripped? They roll when I don't want them too and they don't always hold the club the same way each time. What's with that?

I've tried regripping the clubs and even getting a better grip on life.

Maybe I should just enjoy being out there and not worry about the stokes.

    Like that's reality.

I'd just like to have all the shots on one hole be good ones. What's it like to drive, chip and putt well all on one hole. Or is that just golf?

I think I'll go clean my balls.........and clubs.

    Default note to self

One should never start reading posts from the last one up. It was about four posts before I knew you were talking about golf balls and clubs.

on another note.. it is 54F here. The sky is bright blue, the air is crisp, It is GORGEOUS. You would never know it is winter today.
