Back to the original topic of killing threads....Being rather bored at work tonight, I decided to go back and review some of my old posts...I discovered that my very first post ever on the Forums was responsible for killing a 3-page thread So evidently I got off to a good start....that was 4 years ago....

"I have a dream. It's not a big dream, it's just a little dream. My dream — and I hope you don't find this too crazy — is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."

Some years ago, I was in the hospital and my roommate was an elderly guy, who had some sort of dementia.
Anyway, he would take his spit and fashion it into a poker hand of five cards.
I thought he was absolutely nuts, but the sumbitch knew how to play cards.
He beat me everytime with a royal flush.
    True story.

I like black forest cake myself. For a deep chocolate fix though, nothing beats one of those upside down chocolate cakes - I have a recipe somewhere at home for it. I'll try and find it and post it later.

    cheffie,
I love chocolate and your cake sounds great, any possibility you could make it without the coconut? If so you could have a hard time pulling it away from me. Either way I want a piece.
