My body seems to be under seige.... fast food makes me feel sick, I can't drink much without feeling bad the next day, my clothes seem to shink if I'm not exersizing regularily (I'm glad its hockey playoffs now. lots of excersize), and I'm starting to get hair growing out of my ears...(yuck).

It may not be age causing you problems.

I'm 53 and for lunch yesterday I had a can of warm root beer and a half a bag of double stuff oreos.

I just finished a snack of salsa and chips before dinner.

    This is a typical menu.

The hair in the ears is a pain, though.

Somehow, I think it will take a wee bit more than this to make Kiwi blush.

Could it just be something smoldering?

And just what are little green kiwi balls, anyway?

    ( Someone had to ask.)

Talking oops did she say green kiwi balls...

oops.... I meant kiwi berries not balls. Forgive me, both words start with a "b" and my mind was temporarily distracted. Here is the link as I could not post the picture. They are little green berries that are a part of the kiwi fruit family but these are one bite and the skin is dark green and edible( as opposed to the brown furry skin on a kiwi fruit. The fruit is a bit softer than a kiwi fruit but still dark green with the little black seeds. They were very good (and very expensive. I paid $5 for about 12. )

The mind of a red-head is a deep and complex thing. I just can't resist teasing all of you a wee bit.

ps. someone emailed me and said he knew for a fact that kiwi birds do not have green balls. What I want to know is why was he looking?

I'm glad this took a different tack than where it appeared to be going.

Those kiwiberries seem to be a bit on the healthy side so I'll have to
    give them a pass.

Last night was kung pao chicken with low fat cat.
That was the guy I had dinner with, not the ingredients.

Somewhere in the area this morning there is a family crying.
A few hours ago my colleagues and I helped remove a young mans body
    from his car.
Riding back to the station I said a silent prayer for people I may never meet to have strength during their grief.

I got home and put on a pot of coffee, had a bowl of cereal and waited for the sunrise.
Somewhere a mother and father are waiting for a funeral director in order to make arrangements.

Later today I plan on being outdoors cleaning the yard. Raking, picking up twigs and small branches. I enjoy getting outdoors in the spring. The earth smells good.
They will be planning other things also including earth.

This afternoon I'll probably call my kids just to say "Hi" and find out what they've been up to. I'll get to talk to my grandsons. They like the fire trucks when they visit.

The other family will be calling family also. Some grandfather lost his grandson this morning.

12 inches left or right and that car might have missed that pole. Nothing else but open field as far as you can see. Then it would have only been a nuisance on a Sunday morning.

One car, one pole, one tragedy.

Just wanted to get this out of my head.

    Thanks.
