Why in the world would you want to eat a hotdog cold? Do you have any idea what they stuff into that piece of skin?

On another note, what part of the chocolate easter bunny do you eat first?

    Thanks superchef.

You'll be glad to know that I am spending my day tommorow helping to ensure our beef supply. I'll be 'branding' 200 ish head of cattle at my inlaws place.

For those of you not familiar with the process, you separate the calves from the mom's and then wrestle the calves to the ground where they get shot's, horns removed, and if they are male, apply a sterilization process (we used to use a knife) before they are branded with the ranch brand, and have a government ear tag applied.

I had steak for dinner tonight....

    Talking deep thoughts

Why is it that when you are waiting for something, it takes forever to get here and when you don't want something, it shows up yesterday?

Ya know, similar theory applies to many things. Before I was a father and could sleep regularly at home, I wanted to go to work ( at the FD) and get some "work", and regularly sat around all the time.

Now that I am a new father, and sleep is a premium, I was looking forward to a quiet 24, and some much needed rest. Well guess what, I ended up being the pump operator for fire class, for two hours, then we ran a record ( for me) 3 calls in one shift. One of those calls was the exact same time as the newborn's 3am feeding.

As far as vacations go, the next month will last 6 months, and the vacation will seem like hours.

I know. Vacations go by so fast. I lose a day jsut getting there ( get on the plane on Friday night, get off the plane Sunday morning at 6 AM. The list to what to see and what to do is so long that I will probably not see all of it but I will have fun. This is one of my dream vacations.

pv-I hope you are enjoying fatherhood. These are the easy years.
