I'm offended that you would assume that looks are what I based my decision on !!!!!!

    Forget fighting crime ......

I've been a very naughty girl, I think a take down with a very long "frisking" is in order, perhaps even a strip/body cavity search .....

    No brainer...It's Magnum.
I suspect he would be able to get many females to confess to crimes they never committed. Some people will do anything for dimples and cuffs

Come to think of it my husband has dimples and cuffs

Thomas Magnum was a Navy SEAL. He could the hell out of anyone.

And the Ferrari was a nice touch. Even if it wasn't his.

There is no real comparison. Jack Lord was a cop and T. Magnum was not. J.L. fought crime, T.M. drove around the island looking for women.

My dream and I hope you don't find this too crazy is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."

    Talking "OH MY GOD!"

    Magnum Rocks!

Look at the supporting cast Higgins, Rick, TC, Mack tightnit group.

But on a serious note it did adress the Nam Vets issues about PTSD and other topics.

Both had a bad habit of being involved in car chases that mysteriously started on one island and ended on another. Must be those Hawaiian interstate highways.

McGarrett or Magnum??? Come on, no contest.

    McGarrett

Magnum wasnt even a cop. He was a pretty boy PI with a hot ride.

Next thing your going to tell me is Sonny Crocket was a better cop then Joe Friday

PS: 5-0, STILL the best TV show theme music EVER!!
