    Default moving to wilmington

    Hi! I just got a job offer in Wilmington. Anyone from that area? Never been, but it sounds nice. Trying to get some general info on the area. Thanks!

    Wilmington is in New Hanover County, has the NC Sate Port there, a really active fire department, and is a great costal city. I am a NC resident on the other end of the state (the high end with all the mountains) but visit there often. Might even retire there.

    wilmington is a nice city, right on the cape fear river.
