*** REPORT FROM THE LINE OF FIRE ***

    LAGUNA BEACH, CA:

FYI: 6-7 homes slide down hill in Laguna Beach. Homes are located near 10960 Flamingo Road in the Laguna Beach area. 1-2 miles from PCH. Unknown Number of injuries.

    LOS ANGELES, CA:
    AIRCRAFT CRASH:

On Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 2306 hours (11:06 P.M. PST), six companies of Los Angeles Firefighters, one Assistant Chief Officer Command Team, one Battalion Chief Officer Command Team, one Battalion EMS Supervisor, one LAFD Rescue Ambulance, and two Helicopters under the direction of Battalion Commander Robert M. Rose, responded to the report of an aircraft down near the 11500 block of Newcastle Avenue in the Porter Ranch area. Los Angeles Fire Department Helicopters arriving on the scene immediately began a search of the area where the plane was reported to have crashed. A downed single engine aircraft was soon located in Aliso Park, on a hillside, in rugged terrain. Due to the rugged terrain, Firefighters were unable to immediately establish fire protection lines for Firefighters entering the crash scene; therefore, a water-dropping helicopter was dispatched to provide the needed fire protection from the possibility of a flash fire from leaking fuel. Ground crews made their way to the down aircraft and determined that only one person was on board the single engine aircraft and that person, a male adult was declared dead on the scene. To ascertain if others may have been on the aircraft but were ejected, a search of the area by helicopters and ground crews was conducted; no other victims were located. There was no fire and no structures were damaged. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the FAA and the NTSB.

APSN was founded by true emergency professionals that are more than just scanner listeners. We specialize in notifying you about major fire and police events as they happen around the entire State of Arizona. Our professional staff knows what news is, and we do not send minor, non newsworthy events. All television, talk radio & newspapers in Phoenix currently use APSN. When you receive an alert from APSN, you will want to know what is happening! Why wait for the evening news when you can have the news, as it happens, delivered directly to your pager or email address! How do we notify you? That is your option. Although alpha numeric pagers have proven to be the fastest form of notification, we can notify any email address that you may have. That means we can send alerts to your PDA, 2-Way pager, cell phone, or personal email.

For paging groups around the country, we use the FNNM national system for multiple alarm or newsworthy incidents. We prefer to receive incidents via SNPP but can receive via dial up modem.
