FIREFIGHTER JAMES RATCLIFF, 22, OF THE HUDSON VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT JUST A FEW MILES NORTH WEST OF MONTREAL, WAS KILLED IN A TRAINING ACCIDENT ON THE LAKE OF 2 MOUNTAINS LAST NIGHT, june 6th, 2005.
FIREFIGHTER RATCLIFF APPARENTLY FELL FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT'S MOTOR BOAT & STRUCK HIS HEAD WHICH MAY HAVE STRUCK THE BOAT'S PROPELLER.
HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE LAKESHORE GENERAL HOSPITAL WHERE HE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD A FEW MOMENTS AFTER HIS ARRIVAL.
AN INTERNAL INVESTIGATION IS UNDER WAY TO DETERMINE THE EXACT CAUSE OF DEATH.
