    I heard 4-6.

    The written exam is July 9th. I believe.

    I BELIVE its 4. They wanted 6 but the town voted 4 I BELIEVE.

    anyone know why you need to be in willimantic for 8:00 am for a 930 test? i know theres the whole sign in deal but an hour and a half?

    I worked there for 8 years before going to the FDNY, they are down 4 right now, and just signed a contract that calls for adding 1 per shoft to bring each shift up to 7 total, so they are actually down 8. I know they are looking to fill the 4 they are down right now, but as for the other 4 I am not totally sure right now. Good place to work, you learn a lot.

    There were approx 70 people taking the test on Saturday. 4 positions are being filled currently with 4 more coming shortly. The list will be good for 2 years.

    got the letter today with the scores, is there only 70 applicants, i thought i counted more like 95. but good luck.

    i wonder if they are only going to take the top 25% for the orals, read the letter and let me know what you think they mean.

    i got my letter today. it says "we will be notifying the higher scored canidates for the oral board on/or about sept 1st." i dont know if that means just the top 25% or not. i would assume it does, cuz they make a point to say that 25% scored a 91% or above. but who knows. i was hoping for a higher score but i made it in the top 25% none the less so i guess i should be happy.
