    Question Advice

I am a Captain with my Explorer Post. Originally, I was a Cadet with a different department not affiliated with BSA. But to the point. My new Post is in the ruins almost. We're beginning to make progress and have 8 members(4 of which are former cadets)we have made improvments and things are beginning to turn around. However, things could still be better, so if any1 has any idea as to what I can do I would appreciate it.Any advice or ask questions here.

    Default Ummm...

I am not an expert in this but here we go...

-Set up some rules and standards to operate by.

-Dont give away special items. Make members earn the
right to ride along, get gear, etc.

-Have the local paper/media do a write up about your program.
    Get some exposure.

GET MORE PEOPLE INVOLVED!! If people there are learning and enjoying themselves the more people will come. People will bring friends classmates ect. Do some recruitment also. Fundraising allows you to have money to do stuff. Ive seen it work. Good luck....
