    Question 1199A email?

Got an email this morning that our direct deposit form 1199a has been accepted, but nothing in the drop down box, and definitely no questions. Does that mean anything at all?

Did you get the original email with the 10 questions? And is there a link for the 1199A there? I'm guessing yes, otherwise you couldn't have printed it.

The email that it's been accepted is just a confirmation that they got it. Originally they didn't send that email, and they were bombarded with phone calls asking if they got it, which slowed down everything. This way, you know they got it, and they can keep on working to get the money churned out faster.

There won't be any other links added to the drop-down until the public announcement is made.

How long does it take to actually get money in your account after you request it?. I have a dealer saying he will ship for free if we pay within 10 days. thanx

Quite fast nowadays. I think they say 3-5 business days just to be safe because someone does need to OK the transfer on DHS's end. But that's simple enough to prep them for too, just call the identified grant rep in the award letter when the public announcement comes through and let them know your supplier has the equipment ready to ship so you're going to be requesting funds right away.

Just make sure that if you calculated a shipping amount as part of the bid price that you keep your matching fund percentage on track.
