Our department has not yet registered with NFIRS but we will by this year. I remember in the application having to admit not yet being registered with NFIRS. Did that automatically disqualify us? A few years ago, when I was with another department, I distinctly remember that question being followed by "If you are not currently registered with NFIRS, will you register if awarded this grant" or something to that effect. We were not given that option this year.
