Ruger P94-DC .40 cal and a Ruger Security-six .357
Wife has a Taurus .38 snub-nose with a shrouded hammer and vented barrel. Pretty neat little purse gun.
Bou, there is no mistake. The magazine in the picture is designed for use in the special rear-firing model. Can you find the mistake?
Surely you didn't think they put the rounds in the mag backwards, did you?

Currently I own a 12ga Remington 870 pump shotgun, I will be adding an AR-15 and hopefully some kind of pistol to my collection shortly...

I kinda collect guns. It has always been something that I have done with my dad and grandpa. I prefer rifles and shotguns, but this is the latest...Springfield Armory, Micro-Compact 1911-A1. I really don't like the look of it (a gun has gata be pretty ya know
), but it was a super deal and my dad insisted that, despite what I think, S&W is NOT the ONLY manufacturer out there, and that everyone should have at least one from Springfield...anyway...

Handgun owner here. I carry one everyday.
There's a picture on my homepage http://www.geocities.com/cellblock776 showing some of my hardware.
Shown are-
AR-15 (x2), Rem 870 12 gauge, Ruger P-89 (x2), Star BM 9mm, Star Super B 9mm, Bersa .380 cal, Davis .22mag derringer, Ruger Mk2 .22LR.
Got more plus the required militia gear such as a set of Soviet First Gen night vision binos, Kevlar Helmet, LBE, M17 NBC mask w/spare filters, etc, etc, etc...
Most who have been on this board for awhile have seen my pics with my different gear.

At the current point in time I have 2 pistols, but I am eyeballing 2 more.
I have a Sig-Sauer P229 chambered in .40 S&W (I consider the 9mm to be a garbage round.)
A couple months ago we (the Mrs. and I) bought a Sig-Sauer P245 which is chamber in .45 for those that don't know.
Both with night sights.
We both have small hands so we need a weapon that allows for good control of actions and levers.
I will probably be buying a Kimber 1911 model called teh "Warrior" as I have this overwhelming need to have one of the best handguns ever designed and made. Besides, as a former Marine, I figure if the "Warrior" is good enough for Detachment 1, it is good enough for me.
The second one I want is a Sig-Sauer Mosquito (see a common theme there?) which is a .22LR pistol. I love Sigs and figure that since I truly enjoy shooting, .22s are hell of a lot less expensive than .40s or .45s.
When I own a house, I'll probably get a good rifle. I love rifle shooting and REALLY want an M-14."Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like." Will Rogers

I have mostly long guns (SKS rifle that I bought cheap from a deputy friend of mine, Browning 16 gauge automatic shotgun and Winchester .308 bolt action rifle given to me by my dad, and my regular duck hunting gun, a Remington 870 Magnum 12 gauge pump...oh, and a single shot .410 crack-barrel with the trigger guard missing that I used to hunt squirrels with when I was a kid)
The Browning is one of the Belgian made "Sweet 16" models, the ones with the gold plated trigger. I'm told it's worth a few bucks (had offers before but I'm not selling)
My only handgun is a Smith & Wesson Model 586 357 Magnum (nickel plated) that I bought from my brother-in-law when he got out of the Sheriff's Office reserves.
Eventually I suppose I'll get the rest of my dad's guns, which include a Winchester Model 12 16 ga. pump, a Remington .22 automatic rifle, a Colt Woodsman .22 automatic pistol, and a little Barreta .22 automatic.
Really the only thing I'd like to add to my collection is a model 1911 .45 auto...always wanted one. Colt would be nice, but a Springfield would be OK...one of these days, I guess....
Not a big shooter....haven't fired the .357 in years. Do a little hunting, but not that much...ducks and squirrels mostly....Last edited by dmleblanc; 06-19-2005 at 09:49 AM.

"I have a dream. It's not a big dream, it's just a little dream. My dream — and I hope you don't find this too crazy — is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."

No handguns, but I do have a Remington 870 Wingmaster. Only the greatest shotgun ever made.
And my favorite, my Browning compound bow. Set at 70 lbs, will go right through the side of a shed. (target practice mishap)
