"Pooh, promise you won't forget about me, ever. Not even when I'm a hundred."
    Pooh thought for a little.
"How old shall I be then?"
    "Ninety-nine."
    Pooh nodded.
    "I promise," he said.

When my son was born, we did his room up as 100 Acre woods.

    Sad, very sad.

My son has several things from Pooh, including a rubber Tigger squeaking toy that was my first toy when I was born.

    A sad day indeed.

I had the chance to meet Mr. Fiedler a few years ago when he was acting in a play I was doing the sound engineering for. As soon as I heard his voice I knew he was piglet...before he or anyone else mentioned it. He even had a piglet "way" about him. He was a funny, caring, all around good guy. He was one of the few actors to actually ask us "techies" if we wanted coffee, soda etc. May you rest in peace John.

I have lost my mind..has anyone seen it? it's not worth much..but it's mine

We went to Disney World last week and my kids were so excited to meet the Pooh charachters.

These two gentlemen's work will live on and delight children for years to come.

Sad, but his legacy will never die.

The only thing to say is "TTFN".

As the father of an 18 month old who has a Pooh-themed nursery and the owner of a 5-disc DVD player in which at least three Pooh movies are loaded at any given time, 'tis a sad day to learn of losing these two fine men. But as has been said, they leave behind a legacy that will last so long as the imaginations of children take them to the 100 Acre Wood.
