As posted before,the Paducah Fire Chief has been on cable access talking about poor response times with volunteer units.
It does incense the vollie Chiefs,and the rank and file too.
There is talk of getting all the county Chiefs on that show and explain what we can do and how often we clock faster response times than the city does.
We're supposed to be a brotherhood but some people don't see it that way.Worse,I think that some are going out of their way to make it harder to co-operate between paid and volunteer departments when we all want the same thing:the fire put out,the wreck victim extricated or the heart attack patient revived and transported.
