    Smile Hello from ERIE PA

    Hello everybody!!!
    My name is Jim Hawryliw. I'm currently the Fire Chief of the Fairfield Hose Company in Erie, PA. I have been very active in the Fairfield volunteer fire dept. for 12 years. I started as a Junior Firefighter at the age of 14 and worked my way up the ranks. Our station currently has 5 poeces of equipment. We have (2) engines, (1) tanker, (1) Special Rescue (command vehicle, water rescue, ropes, etc...), and (1) ambulance. Fairfield annualy runs between 700 - 800 calls a years.     I am originally from Westmoreland County and Erie is one of my favorite cities in the world. Love the water, the small town feel and the atmosphere. I last visited about a year ago. Welcome to the forums.
