    Default Slow run day?

Thought it odd that a run like this would make it to the PhotoStories section:

Someone forgot that April Fools Day was three months ago....

For all the life of me, i cant see a firefighter going to hell. At least not for very long. We would end up putting out all the fires and annoying the devil too much.

Does it become a second alarm if over 10,000 blades of grass are involved?

The folks who developed the Thermal Imaging Cameras are now working feverishly to create a version that will convert the temperature readings to reflect an accurate number of the Blades of Grass that are involved. A wireless link to the IC's radio will automatically strike additional alarms as the Fire grows in intensity.

Guys, Guys, Guys! Be nice! Did you ever stop and think that helpless insects could have been seriously injured or evn killed in this .000001 acre grass fire, that tied up 2-3 firetrucks while someone across town was calling 911 because someone dropped a cigareete on the sidewalk and it was still smoking.
    Anything Goes!

"I have no ambition in ths world but one, and that is to be a fireman. The position in the eyes of some, may appear to be a lowly one; but we know the work which a fireman has to do believe his is a noble calling. Our proudest moment is to save lives. Under the impulse of such thoughts, the nobility of the occupation thrills us, and stimulates us to do deeds of daring, even of supreme sacrafice." ---- Edward F. Crocker Cheif of Department FDNY 1899-1911

Since the military developed the TIC (if I'm correct) that wouldn't surprise me one bit.
