Unhappy 15 Items or less cash only

I was in the store the other day to pick-up a couple of things for dinner and was waiting in the express line behind two people who just couldn't follow the rules. The longer I was in line the hotter I got.... the one lady had 22 items ...15 were cans of cat food. I can live with one or two items over if you pay cash, but she used a credit card that got denied...then wrote a check, which by the way could not clear because she bounce a check at that store once before. Now the other guy he was a piece of work he did all his shopping while in line. He got in line with the proper number of items but then he decided he needed this and that.. so he sends his son all over the store to get the stuff he forgot and to top it off he paid with a credit card also. Im thinking of starting a support group for the 15 Items or less group if you would like to join all you have to do is put a {15} on your signature....maybe we can stop the maddness

I would be the jackass to say, so everyone else can hear it, "Excuse me, do you mind if I go ahead of you since this is the 15 items or less line and you clearly are violating that policy?"

And those people are usually the same ones that park in the fire lanes, handicapped spots, and no parking zones. Go figure

I used to work at a grocery store as a cashier and I would get those all the damn time in the express lane and I had no problem telling them to go into another lane...it was stupid because they would hold up the express lane when its supposed to be express...BUT the one thing that I hated the most was people that had just enough items but they would have 100 little cans of cat food and didnt think those all counted

Oh do I HATE when people do that. I always make a smart a** comment to them. My favorite is to say out loud "amazing how many people cant count to 15"

Yeah, sometimes when I see someone do that, I go up to them and say, "Wow, it's good to see you've overcome your disability!" and leave them feeling like the jackass they are...

I saw this sign in a small town store several years ago and have always remembered it.

Same here, I can't stand it when they do that. One time my wife said something to a guy infront of her, and his reply was that it would average out because you only have one item. She damn near defied gravty as she commenced the brutal lashing. LOL That was good stuff.
    There goes the neighborhood.
