Now that he is not going to drive for D.E.I. next year where will he be. I say driving the #2 car in place of Rusty. Place your bets now.

I think it's sad. DEI was just starting to get their head above water, and get things back together. I think they had a team that was really going to work out.

I don't know where he'll end up, or if his sponsors stay with him, but if my team mate crashed me out as often as Jr. does, I'd be looking for a new ride too.
Maybe it's because I'm not a racer, but I just can't imagine it.
I'd like to hear what goes on in the board room on monday mornings. There goes the neighborhood.

And.................
My wife thinks that the real reason is Michael's inability to get along with Jr's Stepmother, who reportedly has a tight grip on D.E.I. at all times. I don't know what my opinion is yet, my wife hasn't told me.

I don’t blame Mikey at all for leaving. They took his whole team gave it to JR and had the guts to say if your not in the top ten this year we will not renew your contract. Mikey has been loyal to a fault. How many races could Mikey of won if he jumped out from pushing JR. I would like to see a spot for him at Henderick’s. I would like to see Mikey push Jeff or Jimmie

Hendrick? Jeff? Jimmie? are you kidding me? Waltrip doesn't whine enough to be with them, Hes a real racer not a pretty boy in a race car.
I have no idea where he is going but i have heard that he might go to the 0 car and he might take NAPA with him wherever he goes.
I would bet money that some of the first phone calls that came to him after he decided to leave were from some guy named roush and maybe one named penske.
Maybe to the 11 cuz Leffler really sucks?

I would like to see him take over the 11 car with JGR. It'd be a great addition to that team and make them a tougher one to beat. Go Bobby!

Good for DEI for dropping Waltrip. Maybe he can get an announcers job, well, I hope not as I get tired of hearing Old Darrell trying to explain something.
Of course I saw where he may go to the ZERO car, what a fitting car for him!!!
Mumbles Burton drove it, or tried too.
Maybe Mike will go and drive a truck.Last edited by CaptOldTimer; 07-19-2005 at 12:55 PM.

Ya know, if Rousch can get Jamie McMurray out of his contract (I don't know why, he's just a flash in the pan) Michael might get the #42 as a ride. And keep in mind that Robert Yates is still a car short. If NAPA decides to stay with Michael, Yates has a car with no primary sponsor. He could go anywhere.

You mean like JR isn’t a whiner. I’m taking your team and your cars because my guys couldn’t get me championship. Come dude Mikey leaving is going to be a good thing. I myself think he is going to be driving the number 2 next year. If not big brother Rusty knows where he is going. If no one caught that on the interview on speed.Originally posted by firefighterkid

Finally
I am so glad Michael has finally woke up. Because if my teammate wrecks me or spins me out there's going to be problems. Or at least what comes around goes around.
