    Default Career Development

We are a combination department which is looking into forming a career development program. I was interested in seeing other programs that work, especially if there are ones that have found a way to use it to entice advancement for the volunteers also. If you could email me your system at wpvfr@yahoo.com, I'd appreciate it.

Also, I have done a search on this and came up short. That's odd, my wife says the same thing.

Sorry your not getting any replies on this mate but I cant help you. I know nothing about the topic. Is your career component affiliated with the IAFF in some way? I'm sure they would have some resources to help you out. Failing that, are their other Dept's in your area that have gone through similar growing pains?

Try contacting the Virginia Professional Firefighters here...

They may be able to help you.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I have been in touch with some other departments, but I figured the more input I got the better the program would be. We are not IAFF yet.
