    Southall house fire


    Four fire engines and around twenty firefighters tackled a fire at a terraced house on Beaconsfield Road in Southall this afternoon. The blaze destroyed the entire ground floor of the three storey house which was empty at the time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The Brigade was called at 1233 and the fire was under control by 1334. Crews from Hayes and Southall fire stations attended the incidents.
