    Red face Try Bridgeport

They are taking on crims-so anything goes.
You may not meet the criteria-Ethnic minority?Boot blacking
    Handicapped? Chop a leg off.
Sexual preference--speak with a lisp if you are a bloke--deepen your voice if you are a gal.
Ageism--start talking about your wartime service--World War One

For Gods sake do not show them that you actually know what the job entails--this will just show them to be be what they are--losers.

    Cynical-who me? Never.

Just my weak attempt to inject a bit of humour (or as you say humor)
if you use the search button/device/thingy/howsyerfather and tap in
"Bridgeport Hiring Felons" all may be revealed--if I have caused confusion or the grey cells to go into overdrive -I apologise.
If you would like me to explain the heading about "Mr and Mrs Chasm" I will gladly do so.

"Good ol EOE" is not the problem. Affirmative action is the problem. Nothing at all wrong with giving everyone an equal opportunity, it's when people get an unfair advantage for being a so called minority that is unconstitutional.
That brings to mind that firefighter in Pontiac who is suing the department for their affirmative action hiring and promoting of a mandatory 1/3 minorities. He is also suing his own IAFF local for not having the guts to take a stand against these unconstitutional hiring practices. The IAFF local has, since the lawsuit, said that it is all for doing away with the crap AA hiring. Too bad they are about 20 years too late.
I wonder how many good firemen were not hired or promoted because of practices like Pontiac's. Even worse, how many crap people were hired and promoted. I would be embarrassed to be given a position for any reason other than I earned it.

Any other thoughts? Those are mine.

How about the biggest guilt trip you can be accused of?
