Hey, I've got 3 months to prepare for basic training and then fire academy at the DoD Fire Academy in San Angelo. I'm ready for basic, but not sure about fire academy.
What books or websites can you suggest that I buy, read, study to get ready.
I wanna be as prepared as humanly possible, both physically and mentally.

Book recommendations? When I get to hell
The devil he will say
"How'd you put my fires out?
In just one day?"
I lift my hose up higher and higher
that's how I do it, I'm a firefighter!

There are threads here that discuss good books for the incoming firefighter.
Go to the Firefighters Bookstore online-they have a good selection.Jacktee
