Question Policy for Mast Casualty Incidents

I have been tasked to author a policy for our department on operating at "Mass Casualty Incidents". Does anyone have a current policy on this that you would be willing to share or assist me with?

    Thanks, Ed

I don't have a specific policy for MCI's, but a good resource may be the local level I trauma center or ambulance company.

I have some good info on MCIs, but I do not have a policy. What are you looking for? Who does what or who to call for resources, etc.? If you could narrow it down for me I could probably send you some info.

Whatever your region is using you should be using. Ask other local departments. It doesn't make sense to have a department-specific policy unless you can handle most MCI's without assistance...
God Bless America!Remember all have given some, but some have given all.

MIEMSS and MEMA may have a region or statewide plan you can build from:
