    Default Scheduling Software

I have been recently put in charge of scheduling our volunteer on call personnel. Each person submits their available shifts and then I have to fill a schedule that consists of 2 people for each of the following shifts. 6a-6p 6p-6a 8a-4p 4p-Mid.

Is there a software package that people have used that allow for an easier scheduling solution? Currently I am doing things with Excel and it takes aproximately 7 hours to complete the schedule.

My preferred solution would have a web interface for personnel to enter their availabilities and then autogenerate a skeleton schedule, allowing me to change crew members from those available to fill the shift.

If anyone has some suggestions or software packages to consider, I'd appreciate the help!

    Thanks

These guys may have something you can use:

I am not in anyway affiliated with them.

I had heard of a program at www.goperdiem.com from another forum here. Has anyone heard of or used this program?
