    Default Chase Driver

    Sorry if this questions seems simple... What is the role of the "chase driver"? I have seen several ride alongs filmed with the "chase driver". Just wondering what the theroy is behind this?

    A lot of times it is an officer's vehicle (chief, etc). It could be an EMS vehicle, a vehicle with paramedic only equipment. It could be anything, even a vehicle just for the purpose of making that video.
    Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.
