Mobile Home Fire Under Investigation
The state Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed an unoccupied mobile home Sunday afternoon.
The fire at 805 Indian Bluff, off Thornhill Road west of Winter Haven, was reported at 4:22 p.m., firefighters said.
When firefighters arrived, it was already in flames, according to Polk County Fire Battalion Chief Steve Buttermore.
It took about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control.
There were no injuries, Buttermore said.
