Walthamstow Ė woman rescued from flat fire


An older woman was rescued by fire crews after a blaze broke out in a flat on South Countess Road in Walthamstow on Sunday morning. The woman was carried to safety from a first floor flat by firefighters using an internal staircase. She was later taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and shock. The blaze destroyed around three-quarters of the flat and the cause is still under investigation. The Brigade was called at 0213 and the fire was under control by 0311. Crews from Tottenham and Walthamstow attended the incident.

House fire
Kenosha, WI


At around 2345 hrs; Kenosha Fire was dispatched to the 500 blk of 45th St for a working house fire. First engine on scene reported heavy fire & smoke showing. At this time command requested extra companies to respond to the scene. neiboring fire dept's were called in to manned Kenosha station's. This was a 1-1/2 story wood structure. Heavy fire damaged the first though out the house. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Rehab was also called to the scene. whlie Kenosha was busy with the house fire; they( Kenosha Fire ) recieved another full response fire for a fire in an alley. This was a fully involved dumpster fire next to a 3 story brick building. Rehab also responded to the second call.
