Does anybody know if the NOFA has been delivered? If so when?

Care to share what kind of "indication" that was? We are all dying to know ourselves.

I hope your "Indications" are accurate...I am getting tired of sitting on the edge of my seat and biting all my nails off....LOL I am a first time grant writer and appear to be successful by early indocations of 10 Q's, 1199A update and "Ref Award Number" thingys on my application stuff. I understood thru Senator Allen's (VA) Office that they were aware of the hold-ups and he was working on finding out whose tail his foot needed to go into to get things rolling. Ha Ha Ha

    Default Excited question

I am new to the forum but I had to ask a question. We received our questions and 1199 information. Replied to questions and verified 1199 information.

The next day we received confirmation to our reply and "re:" in e-mail said
"Award xxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx ". From everyone's past experience, is this a pretty good indicator that we have been successful?

    Thanks

Yeppers! From what the "veterans" are telling me this is an early indication of an award possibly coming. However as the "veterans" will tell you and would smack me around for not saying, "It's not official until the 'Official Notification' takes place". This is a great sign but don't put the cart before the horse.

955, sounds like it's time for YOU to go "shopping", too. Just don't buy anything yet.

If you go to the Federal Register website, there is a notice for tomorrow's CFR. It is posted under the public inspection documents sections under regular filings sections. Here is the cut and pasted text from that site:

    HOMELAND SECURITY DEPARTMENT
    See Coast Guard

    NOTICES

Agency information collection activities; proposals, submissions, and approvals, 05-16209

Grants and cooperative agreements; availability, etc.:

    Firefighters Assistance Program, 05-16309

    ar filings.

I just hope it's the greatly anticipated NOFA. We put in for $110, 000 for radio equipment upgrades. Got our 1999a and questions late June.

Has this future posting shown up in the FR before? Sounds postive to me, but postive can mean so much.

Can't recall seeing the notice posted on the FR before, but anything is possible. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

By the way, here is the link to go to the reference.

Our luck it will be something acknowledging the fact the NOFA isn't issued and won't be for some time. But I have my fingers crossed and hoping I am wrong.
