    Default Those Dam Beavers Again

Except this time its a serious story.

    Beaver dams spark flooding

Canadian Press Tuesday, August 09, 2005

GRANDE PRAIRIE, Alta. - Canada's national animal has been working a little too hard in northwestern Alberta where beaver dams are backing up water onto already rain-soaked farmland and roads.

The County of Grande Prairie's predator control program has destroyed 144 beavers so far this year and removed 116 dams. The beavers build large dams that block creeks, rivers and streams. The backed-up water can destroy or stunt farm crops, as well as block or wash out rural roads.

I've got one eye opened as I read this one for fear of where it may go.....

On a side note.... I'm no wildlife conservationist or nothing, but perhaps if we airdropped some fig newtons on the little creatures they would be distracted!!!

Ahhh your wrong with the fig - this will only give the beaver more energy to work harder! Remember these are wild beavers! I have met some tamer ones and they are so cute - even let you pet them! Dont pet them to much cause they can eventually get irritated and holly snap have they got big teeth!

That is why I suggested Mikes Hard Lemonade, they will get so drunk, they will start their own fights with themselves and then eventually hurt themselves so bad that they can't build for a while...

Imagine that they might forget where they put the dam. We might have to call the PD and SAR for to find it again.

I once got drunk and changed my password to my email address, i ended up having to scrap the thing cause i couldnt remember the new one and it kept telling me that my answer to the 'secret question' was wrong!
Always managed to find my dam...i mean home though.

The dam problem is really just about the damn dams the dam beavers are making. If it weren't for those damn dams there would be no dam problems.
