Here's to hoping they get the death penalty for commiting this heinous crime!"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."

I guess rural PD's have problems too. Seems that they were making this prisoner transfer in the parking lot. No sallyport. Open invitation for this to happen. My prayers are with the CO's family and friends.

I agree, they should get the chair and Tennessee is a place that does it.
I wonder if the man will take Merle Haggard's"Lonesome Fugitive"to heart and leave her behind while he runs.
After all,she did kill a cop to get him out of jail. Why not show the usual loyalty that exists between hoods?

When the cops get those two bottom feeders in their gun sights, they just need to drop them right there-no warnings-just shoot them down.
My heart goes out to the families and fellow officers. What a tragic situation.

They caught them about 45 miles from me.
She had been a nurse in the prison where he was being held, and had been fired several months ago for inappropriate behavior with this dirt bag prior to them being married. This kind of thing happens with incredible frequency in prison systems all over. Some of these guys are masters at manipulation.
Hopefully, Tennessee will see him on death row. It's unfortunate that they will both be sponges on the taxpayers ranging from their trials, defense attornies, incarceration, and ultimately (hopefully) their execution.Steve Gallagher
