How very cool. Do you have any info on the fire?
My favorite was the video where they actually get to put water on the fire. You can really see how the fire has a mind of it's own. It looked like it was playing games with the FFs.
that officers foot must have been glued to that Q pedal...that thing was wound up max almost the entire time...and i can see why! That dash cam was a cool one...you'll always get those that just don't wanna stop.

Fire does NOT have a "mind of its own". FIre is a physical and chemical phenomenon that is completely predictable if the circumstances are known and understood.
That is why a knoweldge of fire science is so vitally important. Check out the fire science thread on here.
Good Division A video. I was actually impressed that they blackened it down so fast.
My only question is; where was that D side hoseline going? Interior, or just ground floor?
Good video, but if the D Side guys are going in, would it not be a good idea to stop A side master streams? Maybe its just me, or we didn't see where the D side guys were going (attack from out or in). With that much fire involvement and weakening walls, it could be possible that the master streams could push down walls and such on any incomming crews from the back. Just a thought. Still a good video, gotta love the Q

Bear in mind, that many of these are documents written by PhD's and are based on scientific research and experimentation. You won't find any war stories on this site.

All research in the field shows that you are wrong. You also did not read my post. The chemical and physical reaction of fire is 100% calculable and predictable. There are mathematical formulas that are the foundation of computer fire models that have been developed. People a WHOLE lot smarter than you or me are constantly conducting research to refine our knowledge of the phenomenon of fire.Quote:

Did you check out any of the links that I provided above? I suggest that you do. I am tired of hearing FF (not you) say that fire is a living breathing animal or that it is a beast and crap like that.
Here are two links that will provide a solid background in understanding fire research and how the development of mathematical calculations of fire development are used to predict real world fire conditions.
My guess is you won't read them, but it will not be said that I didn't try.
