I don't think any signature is bad. They are actually, well often, more entertaining than the thread. Plus it is a bit of personality which is often fun.

Short enough to read, long enough to convey what I think is important. If you can't fill in the blanks, perhaps you should try your hand at something else.

    Consulted with Jake and Vinnie.
They said to "leave it as is".
On rare occasion has my post been shorter than my signature.

I think RLFD14 has one of the all time greats. Mine I stole from an old firefighter. We was a county meeting and someone said “training makes perfect.” He said no it doesn’t boy. Training makes permanent. If you train half *** then half *** is what you get. I could train you every day on how to build a rocket ship. Doesn’t mean I know how but you are saying you will be perfect because you train to do it. You’re level of training is only as good as the information and skill that is giving it to you.
Training does not make perfect. Training makes permanent!

An education is only wasted when the taught individual chooses not to recognize the value of the lesson.

    Cool how true

because in my last dept. this was oh so true, like in many depts.
The success of a fire department depends on the willingness of its members to put aside their differences and work for the benefit of the dept.
