Hey everyone i just joined this forum! I'm nicole and i live in sacramento california! I'm an EMT-B currently in paramedic school. After that i probably will go in the academy and join the fire department, but who knows! Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself!

Hello, when you get with a dept in cali, insist to the crew that you want to wear a NewYorker or a SamHouston helmet.

nikki, those are the two types of leather firefighter helmets that are popular on the east coast. it hasn't caught on yet in the west, but don't worry, it will soon.
real firefighters wear leather helmets!!!!
also, don't forget to post a pic of yourself in the "faces behind the post" thread in the off duty sectionIf my basic HazMat training has taught me nothing else, it's that if you see a glowing green monkey running away from something, follow that monkey!
