An accidential fire destroyed a vacant house in the 2000 block of West Route 115 on Tuesday night, according to Capt. Mark Swinford of the Otto Township Fire Protection District. A handful of local fire agencies helped snuff the flames. The blaze may have been sparked by a small fire that was ignited for training that Otto firefighters were doing there earlier in the evening, according to Swinford. "We were confident that everything was OK before we left," Swinford said of the training.

Oh come one be nice I'm sure they're not the only ones to burn down there own training house unscheduled. I know of a department I'm my area that's 3 for 3 in the last 5 years. Or better yet didn't Warrenville burn down the wrong house a few years ago? Not throwing stones but there has to be some comical experiences people can share.
