    Hi! I am not a firefighter but I do have the highest respect for them. My question is if anyone would be interested in helping me with the book I'm writing. It's purely fiction but I wanted to get some background information on firefighting. I would be interested in talking to anyone male or female, young or old. When my book is published I would like to know that if a firefighter picked it up and read it they wouldn't feel disrespected. If anyone wants to help just post in this forum your email address and I'll get back to you. Thanks.

    Most firefighters aren't into fiction. Why don't you write a book with the truth in it and go by fire houses and interview some of the members there. Too much BS fiction already been published about Firefighters!

    Well, I actually just read a really good fictional book about firefighting, but I think only the women would like it. It was sort of a romance but it was a Christian book. The fire chief was female.
