Grant Admin
Zoom 40, in 2003 most of my communications with the Grant Admin was all via email or through the mail center on the grant application. Had some grant admendments due to lower prices than initially quoted, everything went very smoothly. The only person to person contact I had was when a regional rep came out to review the paperwork, and then, they were all very nice and very helpful. They do realize that some of us are new to the process.

Points of Contacts
I would contact your Regional Fire Programs Specialist first. Most of the Grants Management Specialist have no fire service experience. If you want to talk "turkey" call your Regional POC. Email me to get that info.

Probably meant that by the time you request the money and it's available in your account it will be September. It takes 7-10 business days to process.
