In the past, there were 10 questions, so we just kept calling them 'the 10 q's" You're in good shape. Congrats.

This year there are actually 13 individual questions. I believe in prior years there were 10 individual questions (8 + two "subquestions") and has just came to be commonly known as the "10 Questions".

If you are installing a generator or doing station modifications there are even further questions on everything from Historical land/preservation to Flood plain info! So, don't freak out if the number of actual ?'s vary a bit, depending on your situation.

If you have not gotten the questions, does not mean you're out of the running. You are out of the running if you recieve a DJ.
The 1199A is the banking info that the feds use to direct deposit funds once an awardee makes a payment request.

QUESTIONS ON QUESTIONS!!!
what is the average wait time after you submit the 10 questions??
If you received a grant last year will you need to submit another 1199A??
To answer the 10 questions is it ok just to reply to the e-mail from dhs??

I believe you are asking about the wait time between the questions and the award. This varies greatly with no set time. If their goal is to have the awards completed by Sept. 30th, then the wait will not be too long.
No, You only have to submit a new 1199A if your bank info changed from last year.
You can reply to the questions through the DHS or your own e-mail. This year I had to reply through my e-mail, because trying through the DHS did not work.

Speaking of questions, has anyone heard when the next round of questions will be delivered or are we waiting for the first round of DJ's?

You might not even get a congressional notification. Some members of congress dont call. If your's does than you wont get the call usually until the Thursday before the Friday announcement. If your not due to be announced that week then no call will be received. However still check the lists every Friday. Like I said some members of Congress don't make calls. And some have their local office call you and let you know.
