Find a bldg that you can get good and dark or smoked up,put a couple crews in it then lose an old removable style Pass device somewhere in the building.Sharpens RIT/Fast team skills and is similar to looking for a needle in a haystack. T.C.

There are monthly articles in Firehouse magazine as well as in the Technology section of Firehouse.com...written by yours truly.
My comments are sometimes educated, sometimes informed and sometimes just blowing smoke...but they are always mine and mine alone and do not reflect upon anyone else (especially my employer).

Nothing reinforces good oriented search practices like doing a large area search for a "victim" and then taking the TIC away when the subject is located.

Crews sometimes need to be reminded to use the TIC as a tool, not a crutch.
