TOWN OF OAK GROVE, Wis. (AP) - Maybe this little piggy should have stayed home.
A 42-year-old Beaver Dam man was arrested for drunken driving over the weekend in the Town of Oak Grove. And he had a piglet in the back seat.
A Dodge County sheriff's department deputy saw the man driving erratically on County Trunk AI shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday, forcing drivers off of the road.
The sheriff's department says the driver was disoriented and unable to put the vehicle in park.
It turns out the man had a .32 percent blood alcohol level, which is four times the legal limit.
The man was taken to a detoxification center while the piglet was turned over to the his family.
Neither the man nor the piglet was wearing a seat belt.
"Golly P-p-p-p-ooh, I don't know why I accepted the ride. I mean, he seemed friendly and all..."
