Tottenham – house fire


Four fire engines and around twenty firefighters tackled a blaze in a house on White Hart Lane, Tottenham in the early hours of this morning. Most of the ground floor and a quarter of the first floor were damaged by fire. The fire was extinguished by hose reels and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus. One man who was in the first floor bedroom was rescued by fire crews via the internal staircase. He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. The Brigade was called at 0059 and the fire was under control by 0156. Crews from Tottenham and Edmonton fire stations attended. The fire is under investigation by police and the London Fire Brigade.

Heston – house fire

Fire crews attended a fire in a house on Northfield Road, Heston last night. The blaze spread through the two storey house completely destroying the ground floor and severely damaging the first floor. The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen and is still under investigation. Eight people evacuated the building before fire crews arrived. The Brigade was called at 2016 and the fire was under control by 0036. Crews from Heston, Southall and Kingston fire station attended.
