Default Going in for water Rescue

Got a request in hand a little while ago from the Department of Fish and Game directing what to do to get a water rescue down to help in New Orleans. I thought i would be leaving sometime soon but it looks like I am running short on resources and I may not be able to piece the team together for a few days. We will see what happens.

Default Going In For Water Res.

I am trying to get out there from Calif. and am having a tough time getting answers. I have a lot of family down there and the only info I get is from them via e-mail (no phone service). I would be happy to join up as I am also a rescue diver, swift water, etc. but FEMA (Federal Emergency Mis-Management Agency) is not letting the help thru dispite the pleas for help from all the various agencies. Let me know what your plans are.
