    Default New Orleans What?

Last Wednesday cousin made his weekly buiness trip to Mt Pleasant TX what he found by the pool at the local motel was disgusting. 3 of N'orleans own in uniform with their wemun.

I'm sure the look he gave them is the reason they slunk out of sight. You see, his son is career FF in major city housing the exodus from the crescent city.

Not even sense enough to stop at WalMart to buy a change of clothes!

Well maybe your cousin could have given them a lift to Walmart? And what is so wrong with them being at the pool? But of course I dont know what a wemun is either

    Perhaps sobriety before posting.

I don't think the NOFD is granting any leave right now.

It is reported that there are many New Orleans public safety personnel that are AWOL. It just seems that this guy ran across a few.

That said, I understand that the firemen are concerned about their families. But if their family is safe, then their *** needs to be on the job. Their job is to protect the city, and it needs them the most now.
I can't believe they actually pay me to do this!!!

One friend noted yesterday that a fire officer only carries a flashlight, sometimes prompting grumbling from firefighters who have to lug tools and hoses.
"The old saying is you never know how heavy that flashlight can become," the friend said.

    Thumbs down Awol

[QUOTE=IronsMan53]I don't think the NOFD is granting any leave right now.

My whole point exactly and the reference to their female company was not intended to be complimentary. By the way, I was terribly sober, just using the closest I could come to the local vernacular pronunciation of the region of the Crescent City. My personal hope is that these 3 haven't heard about the free 5 day trips to Vegas and haven't returned to claim those.

But those are the chances you take when you have to curve the test scores to get the numbers right to satisfy the federal numbers in the department, if you know what I mean.
