The interesting thing about Norwich was that only 25% was going for written score and 75% for oral score.

75% oral is a stacked deck, 1 person alone in a room with a small panel , no written answer sheet, no physical record , maybe and oral recording but a panel can give you a high score if you are what they think they or someone higher up may be looking for. It's amazing how many people squeak through a multiple choice test with a 71 and a week later score a 99 on and oral. A true miracle , overnight genius. Or is it favors , racial or ethnic bias.

I spoke with personel last week cause I hadn't heard anything yet. She told me that they were going to test around/during November. No date that she could give me, hope this helps.

With that much of a slant from the written 25% to the oral 75% I could only imagine that the oral will be a doosy.

The written test is really just to weed out those who don't have the academic skills needed to pass the academy and do the job. The oral test is what departments use to determine who they want doing the job.

Perhaps hypergolic thinks they are bastions of "favors , racial or ethnic bias" because he isn't very good at oral boards. Spend a little time over in the hiring and employment discussion and take a few pointers from Capt. Bob and you'll realize it's not the process that's keeping you from getting hired. It's you.
