There you go assuming again. Do you see how the assumption game works? You only see a few pieces of information and apply your interpretation to the whole situation. You see the apparatus sitting in the bays as you drive by two firehouses. You go off and assume that they must not be doing anything at all or whatever they are doing is wrong. But then again, why not assume that they have already completed door to door notifications in their districts (if they were ordered to do so) and were back at the station making preparations for the coming storm?Originally Posted by parafire81

One friend noted yesterday that a fire officer only carries a flashlight, sometimes prompting grumbling from firefighters who have to lug tools and hoses.
