    Default Plenty of days off...

I work industrial and community firefighting jobs in Alberta, Canada and get 7 days off every 7 days. I understand they're having some trouble finding places for relief firefighters to stay at this point- but will need help more in the coming weeks when things start to lift. If a guy wanted to expense his own way down there to help out, who is it you contact who won't just bury you under the pile? Any leads would be great. I know a few of us are talking about using the opportunity to go and really make a difference.

    thanks in advance.

FEMA is still requesting that you DO NOT self-dispatch. They are only accepting crews that they request at this time.
