San Bernardino County California Firefighters and Helping Our Own, Inc sending loads of gear and equipment to the Gulf region.

These three truckloads were taken to Ferrara Fires headquarters in Holden ,LA.
A broadcast on the Emac system for gear was issued the same day these loads were already enroute.
Special thanks to the guys from San Bernardino County California. They hauled a load of gear to Helping Our Own's headquarters in Michigan then decided to take it and more along with HOO's trucks to Louisiana.
I just wish we could get enough funds for Helping Our Own so they could get the dozens more truckloads of gear picked up across the country and distributed to where it needs to go !
A partial list of what was on the trucks is--
690 New Bunker coats
540 New bunker pants
1067 pairs of new boots
470 pairs of used boots
300 helmets
200 PASS devices
20 SCBA
20 extra SCBA bottles
gloves, protective hoods, a few generators, rescue tools and much,much more.
