    Default No Chief Says All Firefighters Alive!

    It is some good news in the sad story of the gulf region, the fire chief of N.O. today anouced that all his men are accounted for. I still have not heard of any deaths in outlying areas for firefighters though, if anyone has news please share.

    I live about 50 miles north of New Orleans and I have not heard of any firefighter deaths or major injuries. I have heard(and this is only hearsay though I wouldnt doubt that it happened) that firefighter were fired upon when responding to a fire in NO. Not sure if it was NOFD firefighter or firefighters that were in the NO area lending a helping hand none the less it is disturbing that this would happen.
