About LinkBacksGot the 8 questions on 7-11. 1199A update for 2005 shows on successful 2003 grant. Still no grant. It's been over 2 months since the questions and we are now going to have to start purchasing items we applied for due to safety issues. We simply can't wait any longer. We have guys with no gear what so ever. Can't keep saying maybe next week.....
Anyone else get questions this far back and still no award?

Call your Specialist and find out if you can expidite on the award, and if not, ask about being allowed to spend some of your matching money to buy the PPE for the guys that don't have any. They can't claim to be safety-minded and not allow you to do that IMHO. It's not like we don't all know the award is pending anyway.

Its been over a month and we havent heard anything back. The questions and the 1199 seem to be a great sign toward an award and I know they have their plates full but we would like to hear that everything is still looking good.I would be careful about ordering before the award date because if I remember right, the email said that it wasnt an award confirmation and do not order equipment before the award email .I understand your need and maybe the help desk could give an idea of what to do.Just be careful and check into it throughly before you act. Call the specialist, not the Helpdesk, they have no authority to make decisions. The Grant Specialists do. There is minimal leeway, but no promises.
